Statement from the Interim Commissioner of Competition following the Competition Tribunal’s ruling in the Rogers deceptive marketing case

On October 28, 2026, Jeanne Pratt, Interim Commissioner of Competition, issued the following statement regarding the Competition Tribunal ruling in favour of the Competition Bureau:

‘’Today, the Competition Tribunal released its decision in the Bureau’s case against Rogers and ordered the company to pay a $15 million penalty in connection with the marketing of its Infinite wireless plans.
