Today, Chief Francis Dieter, along with members of the Peepeekisis Cree Nation Council, Elders, community members, and partners, opened the doors to the community’s newest business, the Peepeekisis Funeral Home. Located in Lorlie, Saskatchewan, the more than 10,000-square-foot facility is the first Indigenous-owned and operated funeral home in Saskatchewan.
