The Canadian Coast Guard advises that the CCGS Judy LaMarsh will conduct icebreaking operations in the North Channel, on Lake Huron, between Bruce Mines and Parry Sound, Ontario, between April 15 – 18, 2026. The purpose of theses operation are to break ice so commercial vessels can navigate safely in and out of the area. The date is subject to change depending on operational requirements or weather conditions.
