The National Film Board of Canada returns to the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival (SJIWFF) from October 20 to 24 with two new short films, including the Newfoundland and Labrador premiere of Inuk filmmaker Jennie Williams’ Billy Gauthier: Carving the Future, recently named Best Atlantic Short Documentary at the Atlantic International Film Festival in Halifax.
