Today, the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister responsible for FedNor, announced Government of Canada investments totalling $3,817,640 for eight economic development projects across Northern Ontario supporting the agri-food industry. This includes support for the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion, a high-profile installation at the 2026 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair that will provide an important spotlight on Northern Ontario’s agri-food industry, and help participating businesses generate new sales, find new markets, and form new strategic partnerships.
