The Government of Canada is investing over $5.87 million through the Green and Inclusive Community Building (GICB) program to support three recreational and community centre retrofit projects across the City of Markham, Ontario. In addition, the Government of Canada is also supporting the Mount Joy Community Centre through an investment of more than $590,000 through the Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF). The City of Markham is contributing more than $1.55 million towards these three projects.
