Survivors of the Former Kamloops Indian Residential School, Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc, and the Government of Canada unveiled plaques to honour the national historic significance of the Kamloops Indian Residential School 

This commemoration is an important part of the Government of Canada’s response to Call to Action 79 in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s final report.
