The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced that she will welcome Youssef Raggi, Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Austria’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, to Canada on November 6, 2026. These visits will provide an opportunity to advance bilateral cooperation and further strengthen Canada’s long-standing ties with Lebanon and Austria, rooted in shared interests, strong people-to-people ties and a commitment to international peace and security.
