Today, the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, President of the King’s Privy Council for Canada and Minister responsible for Canada-U.S. Trade, Intergovernmental Affairs, Internal Trade and One Canadian Economy, along with the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue, and the Honourable Janice Charette, Canada’s Chief Trade Negotiator to the United States , and, met with members of the Advisory Committee on Canada-U.S. Economic Relations to discuss the latest developments in the Canada-U.S. trade relationship and their impact on Canada. This meeting serves as a follow-up to the meeting on August 22, 2026, marking the eighth time Members have convened since April.
