On June 23, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) will hold the first part of a 2-part public hearing to consider the application from Ontario Power Generation to refurbish Pickering Nuclear Generating Station and to renew licences for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station and Waste Management Facility.
