Allison Mendes is a board governance and finance professional with more than a decade of governance experience across the public, private, and not‑for‑profit sectors. She is a member and former Chair of the Board at CreateTO, the City of Toronto’s real estate development corporation, overseeing a portfolio of more than 8,000 properties valued at $27 billion. In this role, she led a new sustainable funding model, advanced major affordable housing projects, and helped lead transformative city‑building initiatives, including the revitalization of the Port Lands.
